Role Overview:

This position is responsible for the overall management of our Business Management System (BMS). The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading and implementing system improvements, ensuring compliance with relevant standards such as ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.

The BMS plays a critical role in driving business excellence and sustainability across the organization. As a key member of the WHSEQ department, you will work closely with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, develop and implement new processes, and maintain accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the BMS, including document control, maintenance of the BMS Register of Documents, and ongoing review and update of system documentation
  • Analyse and evaluate current systems and structures to ensure continual improvement of the BMS
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to update system documentation and implement new processes
  • Assist in simplifying systems, processes, and Change Management processes
  • Support the implementation of new BMS processes and manage internal BMS audits as required
  • Work closely with the WHSEQ Compliance Lead to prepare monthly WHSEQ board reports and Manage of Change

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated years of experience in a System lead/management role
  • Qualification as Lead Auditor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001
  • Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent (desirable)
  • Ability to obtain ADF DCAC & Police Check
  • Construction Industry White Card and Current Valid Driver's Licence
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Applications
