Due to our sustained growth, we are seeking a seasoned Principal Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Adelaide. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing technical guidance, leading a small team, and overseeing detailed design work in the oil and gas, energy, chemical and/or water industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and mentor a small team of engineers, providing technical expertise and guidance.
  2. Oversee and contribute to detailed design projects in the oil and gas, energy, chemical or water industries.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver outstanding design solutions.
  4. Provide technical advisory and support throughout various project phases.
  5. Utilise expertise in hazard analysis and process engineering to ensure project success.

Role Requirements & Experience:

  1. Minimum 15 years of experience in process engineering.
  2. Background in oil and gas, energy, chemical, and water industries.
  3. Proven experience in detailed design and addressing technical queries.
  4. Familiarity with hazard analysis tools and processes.

Skills:

  1. Strong technical leadership and mentoring abilities.
  2. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  3. Experience in both conceptual and detailed design work.
  4. Technical proficiency in process engineering.
  5. Expertise in utilising HYSYS for process simulations.
  6. Experience with hydraulics packages for comprehensive system analysis.
  7. Experience with HAZOP or LOPA facilitation is advantageous but not essential.
