Executive Manager - Buying

The role of Executive Manager is a pivotal position within the National Buying department, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end product tender process. As part of this team, you will be involved in the journey of our products from conception to store shelves.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team and actively support their skill enhancement and career growth opportunities.
  • Oversee the product tender process, managing key project milestones on the critical path, handling administrative tasks, and maintaining the product catalogue.
  • Weekly cost and supply negotiations with business partners.
  • Management of the product tender process, critical path, administration, catalogue, etc.
  • Support the Buying Director as required with the negotiation of fixed tender costs, recommendation on product selection, specifications, market and competitor analysis, reporting and relevant price recommendations.
  • Operational execution of category strategy and management of business partner relationships.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience within a similar role and industry with leadership experience highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, implementing, and managing projects for new processes and contracts.

Remuneration:

Transparent tiered salary range of $159,000 - $208,000 including Superannuation.
