About the Role

We are seeking a proactive individual to join our team as a Trolley Collection Driver. As a member of our Proactive Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that trolleys are available for customers and that our stores are maintained in pristine condition.

You will work closely with your team to drive trolley collection vehicles, collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs, and push trolleys up a ramp onto the vehicle. You will also be responsible for collecting trolleys left in and around the store and returning them to the trolley bays.

Additionally, you may be required to carry out cleaning and waste disposal tasks, as well as complete pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle. You must hold a full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence, Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates) or full International drivers Licence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
  • PUSH trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle
  • Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays
  • Carry out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle
  • Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
  • Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys
Requirements
  • An ambitious mindset and a love of retail
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
