The Developmental Paediatric and Child Protection Medical Service is a specialist healthcare team that provides care to children, young people, and their families or carers affected by abuse and/or neglect. We work closely with police, child protection services, and community-based agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for vulnerable children.

About Our Team:

Our multidisciplinary team of specialists provides comprehensive health services to children, young people, and their families. We support a population of almost 540,000 and have strong links to community-based services for continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide expert medical advice and support to vulnerable children.
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team providing specialist health services to children, young people, and their families.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate medical qualifications and training in paediatrics are essential.
  • Fellowship with relevant paediatric specialties is highly regarded.
