Job Description

As a Procurement and Contract Specialist with the Department of State Growth, you will play a key role in managing procurement issues and facilitating the planning and drafting of procurement documentation. This includes undertaking administrative tasks associated with supplier engagement, contract administration, performance monitoring, and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and support to project managers on procurement matters
  • Coordinate audit reporting, including research and preparation of documents
  • Undertake quality checks and suggested improvements on documents, including procedures and reports
  • Assist with data recording within the Departmental Contract Management System and other data reporting tools
  • Support the Departmental Procurement Committee with secretarial duties, coordination of documents, and preparation of agendas and minutes
