We are a forward-thinking Department of State Growth, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that drive growth and prosperity in Tasmania. Our team is passionate about making a difference, and we're looking for a skilled Contract Support Officer to join us.

**Salary:** AU$63,464 - AU$81,591 per annum

About the Role

This permanent flexible role will see you working up to 73.5 hours per fortnight, providing administrative support to our procurement team. You'll be responsible for:

  • Contract administration, performance monitoring, and reporting;
  • Providing advice and support to project managers on procurement issues;
  • Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders;
  • Recording data accurately and timely within our Contract Management System;
  • Supporting the Departmental Procurement Committee;
  • Coodinating audit reporting and research;
  • Undertaking quality checks and suggesting improvements;

You'll work closely with our Manager, Procurement and Contract Services Branch to deliver exceptional results and contribute to the success of our team.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles and practices;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Contract Management Systems;
