This is a key role within our Asset Management team, focusing on the delivery of operational readiness activities and asset performance improvement projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and taking ownership of a portfolio of asset management projects, working closely with existing national clients to ensure seamless integration of maintenance strategies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering operational readiness activities, including maintenance strategy development, spares assessments, and CMMS builds
  • Developing preventative maintenance plans and procedures for critical equipment, ensuring smooth integration with existing maintenance systems
  • Collaborating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely availability of spare parts and equipment required for maintenance activities
  • Taking a key role in reviewing, implementing, and improving asset management systems and processes
  • Providing technical support and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
  • Identifying new work opportunities and supporting the growth of our asset management group
Requirements
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in maintenance and/or operations, preferably in hydrocarbons, manufacturing, or mining environments
  • Experience developing and managing CMMS and/or Integrity systems and databases (e.g. Oracle, Maximo, SAP, JDE, MEX)
  • Confidence with Root Cause Analysis, FMECA/FMEA, and Equipment hierarchy development, facilitating workshops to address any identified reliability issues
  • Passion to use data to drive projects and reporting, and demonstrated initiative to identify and extend service opportunities with existing customers
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and willingness to travel and undertake site work as required
  • Specialized reliability/maintenance engineering certifications are desirable, but not required
