Business Development Consultant Role Overview

The Business Development Consultant role is a key position that focuses on building industry networks and driving sales processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive analysis to establish deep understanding of client needs and potential solutions.
  • Build relationships and network with internal and external stakeholders, influencers, sponsors, and decision-makers.
  • Manage the sales cycle and related processes from client needs identification through contractual development and execution.
  • Develop sales-support materials (presentations, business cases) that articulate the compelling nature of MasterCard Services qualitatively and quantitatively.
  • Contribute to project delivery efforts utilizing core consultancy skills and industry knowledge.
  • Create intellectual capital (white papers) to increase the value proposition of Mastercard Data and Services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication/influencing skills.
  • Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.

Security Responsibility:

  • Acknowledge security policies and practices.
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of accessed information.
  • Report suspected information security violations or breaches.
  • Complete periodic mandatory security trainings.
