Communications Strategist Job

This role involves creating and executing strategic plans to connect with consumers and promote business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Consumer Insights:
    • Analyzing consumer behaviour and identifying opportunities for connections strategy.
    • Developing consumer journey maps to bring insights to life.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Applying understanding of first-party data and audience segmentation.
    • Interpreting and visualizing data in a meaningful way.
  • Creative Strategy:
    • Developing disruptive brand and campaign strategies.
    • Supporting the development of brand positioning statements.
  • Cultural Insights:
    • Staying ahead of cultural trends and identifying opportunities for culturally relevant campaigns.
  • Thought Leadership:
    • Contributing to industry discussions and publications.

The successful candidate will be required to have:

  • A solid understanding of comms and connections strategy.
  • Comfortable with numbers and details.
  • Analytical and creative thinking skills.
  • Awareness of cultural trends and their impact on consumer behaviour.
  • Understanding of paid, owned, and earned channels.

About You:

  • Nice person with a love for great ideas and advertising.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar role within a creative or media agency.
