About the Role

This role involves overseeing project management on multiple fronts during estimation, planning, and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective management, supervision, and mentoring of staff and contractors during the construction phase of projects.
  • Accurately estimate costs, materials, progress, and schedule.
  • Offer expert construction advice to colleagues and other areas of the business for both routine activities and emergency situations.
  • Assist with constructability assessments and optimization of designs for construction.
  • Conduct long-term planning and scheduling of work and resources to optimize efficiency of construction delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have experience with laying underground utilities and pressure piping (gas, water, or petrochemical).

A Project Management Certificate IV or higher is desirable, as well as certification as a welding Inspector (WTIA Visual Inspector or CSWIP 3.0).

Experience in development, estimation, implementation, and supervision of construction projects in Gas or related industries is essential.

You will also require a Driver's Licence.
