
Child Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Officer to contribute to our innovative projects that adopt a whole-of-system, ecological approach to improving child health, development and wellbeing.
As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including diverse families, service providers and policymakers to drive meaningful change.
Your Key Responsibilities Include
- Assist with the design and delivery of evaluation and action projects
- Conduct mixed methods research including focus groups, interviews, and surveys to inform project outcomes
- Draft high-quality reports and summaries to communicate project findings
- Help design and facilitate project-related workshops and reflection sessions to enhance stakeholder engagement
- Contribute to ethics applications and approvals (e.g. RISEC) to ensure compliance
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field e.g. Public Health, Evaluation, Psychology, Social Policy, Allied Health
- Experience in evaluation and/or research and/or other evidence-informed action methodologies including mixed methods data collection, quantitative and qualitative analysis and reporting
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- A proven ability to synthesise and disseminate complex information clearly and concisely
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with experience engaging and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders
