Principal Productivity Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Principal Productivity Specialist to oversee and manage improvement programs and development of best practices across multiple sites and productivity streams.

This role is integral in defining leading practices, deploying improvement projects, and providing site support to achieve our Best Operator aspirations.

You will work closely with subject matter specialists, advisors, and contractors in areas such as asset management productivity, conveyor productivity, cost productivity, spares management, and labour productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining strong leadership relationships with internal stakeholders and external technical specialists
  • Lead an inclusive culture through collaboration with peers across the broader Improvement, Site and Maintenance Planning & Engineering (MP&E) teams
  • Lead team of FTEs and project contractors
  • Lead or support key improvement programs including Unscheduled Loss Reduction, Cost Productivity and Parts Management across FXP and MEM
  • Maintain and deliver project reports, schedules and budgets
  • Complete capital submissions, project management and cost management
  • Identify and endorse new cost productivity opportunities
  • Support sites to achieve productivity and SPS maturity targets
  • Provide guidance to RTIO Procurement, MP&E, People teams for alignment on strategy & contracts
Requirements
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and highly effective communication skills
  • Existing strong networks within internal RTIO stakeholders including Fixed Plant, HME/MEM and Finance
  • High level of experience or understanding of HME maintenance – Trade / Engineering / Planning background
  • High level of financial acumen and project management experience
  • Ability to influence change and drive leading practice with site leadership
  • Understanding of SPS practices
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
