Lead Defence Graduate Program


The Australian Government's Defence Graduate and Entry Level Program Directorate seeks a seasoned leader to join its team. The Assistant Director will be responsible for guiding a team in delivering the Department's Graduate and Entry Level Programs, providing strategic advice on HR matters, and building partnerships within the organisation.

The role involves:

  • Leading a team in a fast-paced work environment and managing competing priorities;">
  • Monitoring the progress and effectiveness of program strategies and initiatives;">
  • Developing and managing relationships with stakeholders across the portfolio;">
  • Reviewing and evaluating graduate and entry level programs for continuous improvement;">
  • Collaborating across the organisation to ensure contemporary graduate and entry level programs;">
  • Managing and resolving issues affecting program participants and business areas in partnership with enabling areas;">
  • Preparing complex correspondence, briefs and documentation.">
