
Leader of Quality Nursing Services

This role entails overseeing multiple responsibilities across quality of care, financial administration, general management, environment, and human resources to ensure high standards of care and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team to achieve exceptional results. They will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and manage budgets effectively.
In addition, they will have a deep understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, as well as experience in staff training and development. They will be able to promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality of Care: Ensure delivery of high standards in nursing and social care, compliance with regulations, staff training, and innovative practices.
- Financial Administration: Manage budgets, monitor financial procedures, and understand funding and fee structures.
- General Management: Conduct team meetings, liaise with community agencies, handle complaints, and promote the home within the community.
- Environment: Implement health and safety policies, ensure hygiene standards, and oversee maintenance and catering quality.
- Human Resources: Participate in staff recruitment, training, and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified RGN with at least 3 years' recent experience caring for older persons.
- Post-registration management qualification in health or related field.
- Minimum 3 years' management experience in health and social care.
- Registered on the NMBI live register.
- Proven healthcare management track record, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Financial acumen, team motivation, flexibility, and initiative.
