Trainee Clinical Trials Professional

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Clinical Trials Unit as a Trainee Clinical Trials Professional. This 12-month structured program is designed to provide foundational skills and experience in clinical trials, supporting your growth into an entry-level clinical trial professional.

The role involves rotations with our teams, including Start-up & Regulatory, Quality Finance, and Clinical, where you will gain hands-on experience and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) accreditation. You will be expected to undertake entry-level tasks assigned during each rotation, with training and supervision provided throughout.

You will learn to interact with patients, collect and record vital signs, perform venepuncture, and submit documents for ethics review. Additionally, you will gain skills in data entry, tracking patient reimbursement, and reconciling clinical trial samples.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is early in their career or looking to transition into clinical research, and who is ready to be guided, mentored, and challenged as part of a collaborative and purpose-driven team.

We offer additional in-house training and certifications in GCP and Venepuncture, as well as mentorship from our Training Manager and other staff.

Key Requirements
  • Progress toward a tertiary qualification in life sciences or health
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
