We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Child Protection Specialist. This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable children and families.
- Job Description: The Child Protection Specialist will be responsible for responding to reports of safety concerns surrounding children or young people who may have been harmed. You will work sensitively and respectfully with parents, family members, children or young people to provide support and assistance.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing situations and developing safety plans
- Managing cases and situations, including working with high needs and high-risk clients and their families
- Participating in court processes, including the preparation of court documents and attending court
- Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to build positive working relationships. A valid driver's licence (P1 or above) and a paid working with children clearance number are also required.
