Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to join our team in the Yarrawonga region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of home builds from inception through to final inspection and maintenance.

Your primary focus will be on coordinating trades, establishing a reliable trade base, and building strong working relationships with clients, trades, and stakeholders. You will also ensure correct building practices and procedures are adhered to at all times, quality homes are built within set timelines and budgeted guidelines, and OH&S regulations are enforced.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage trades, establish a reliable trade base
  • Build strong and ongoing working relationships with clients, trades, and key stakeholders
  • Ensure correct building practices and procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Ensure quality homes are built within set timelines and budgeted guidelines
  • Enforce and adhere to OH&S regulations

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Experience supervising residential home builds, residential construction experience, or a strong trade background
  • A thorough understanding of Australian building regulations, WHS regulations, and Quality Assurance (QA) systems
  • Completed General Construction Induction Course/White Card
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Solid project management skills, including experience in managing and developing a trade network
  • Able to effectively communicate with a diverse customer group
