Veterinary Nursing Trainee Opportunity

Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse Trainee to join our team in a paid traineeship. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Rostered shifts may include early morning, afternoon/evening shifts, and weekends, with an average of 35 hours per week.
- You must be flexible to work across our group sites (Morphett Vale, Mitchell Park, and Plympton) to cover rosters and participate in training opportunities.
- A reliable vehicle, driving license, and less than 30-45 minute commute from southern CBD locations are recommended.
- You will be required to study Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing over a 3-year traineeship, with an expectation to remain employed with MAS National upon completion.
- You will need to be organized and able to manage your study alongside on-the-job training.
- Confidently handle emergency situations, be on your feet for entire shifts, and maintain high hospital standards.
- No experience necessary, but a commitment to continued learning and feedback is essential.
- A passion for animal care and customer service is vital.
- Certificate II in Animal Care or relevant experience is preferred.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
