About us
Job OverviewWe are seeking a Senior RTFE (Responsible Tailings Facility Engineer) to join our team in Perth, Australia. As a key member of our technical function, you will play a vital role in the sustainable and responsible management of tailings facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain group-level processing-related safety processes, including critical risk identification, mitigation, and assurance.
- Manage Engineer of Record activities in collaboration with asset Tailings Engineering teams and provide input to reviews and audits.
- Facilitate best practice identification and knowledge sharing across the business.
- Consult with design, construction, operations and technical support teams to ensure implementation of risk controls and TSF compliance.
- Undertake engineering studies across the lifecycle of TSFs.
- Support the ongoing maintenance of the requirements of the Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM).
- Collaborate with site leadership and tailings facilities engineers to align operational and financial objectives with corporate goals through the development of unified Business, Strategic, and life-of-mine (LoM) plans.
- Develop, update, and support (including management and assurance) the group processing standards and guidelines.
