About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Garden Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Green Options Landscape Management. As a key member of our outdoor spaces team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our gardens and outdoor spaces.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions from your Team Leader. If you are passionate about gardening and landscaping, and have a dedication to outdoor work, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform tasks such as: planting, weeding, pruning, and watering.
  • Maintain outdoor spaces: mow lawns, trim edges, and care for turf areas.
  • Prepare soil and plant beds: prepare soil, mulch, and plant beds for optimal growth.
  • Operate and maintain equipment: operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
  • Ensure a safe work environment: adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience: previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field is preferred.
  • Physical ability: ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Weather tolerance: willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun.
  • Strong work ethic: strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Teamwork: ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid licenses: valid Drivers License and White Card.
  • Working with children: Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
