About the Opportunity

  • This is an exceptional opportunity for current RACGP AGPT Registrars to contribute to the delivery of education and training activities for registrars and supervisors.

The role will involve working under the guidance and mentorship of Medical Educators, assisting with planning, developing, and delivering education activities within the respective training locality or region. Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the development and delivery of education and training activities for registrars and supervisors.">
  • Supporting Medical Educators in curriculum planning, implementation, evaluation, and review to ensure that College standards are met.">
  • Undertaking medical education projects to improve areas of GP training.">
  • Attending Medical Educator meetings and other stakeholder-related meetings as required to contribute to quality assessment and improvement processes within the organisation and build established links with stakeholders.">
  • Participating in and contributing to Medical Educator PD workshops and conferences.">
  • Supporting Medical Educators with the promotion of GP training to medical students and prevocational doctors and contributing to articles for newsletters and relevant publications.">

About You

">
  • You must have successfully completed all requirements of GPT1 and GPT2 training with Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) program by January 2025.">
  • Have experience in the general practice environment and strong communication and advocacy skills.">
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a professional team while being individually accountable.">
  • Have an approved clinical GP training placement within RACGP at least three sessions per week.">
