Support Worker Team Leader - Disability

We are seeking a highly experienced Support Worker Team Leader to oversee the implementation of individualised supports within supported independent living accommodation settings.

  • This role will require you to strengthen the knowledge and abilities of our Support Worker team, ensuring a person-centered and high-quality culture within the program.

You will provide direct support and lead your team across a range of customer needs, including domestic and personal care assistance, as well as assisting customers to access and have a positive connection to the community.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in the Health Sector, with a strong understanding of disability support services and policies.

A Certificate 4 or higher in a related field is highly regarded, along with demonstrated leadership and management experience.

You will be required to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends, and public/school holidays, with significant availability.

We value resilience, confidence, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and the ability to develop positive relationships are also essential.

  • Ability to obtain NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
  • Ability to obtain paid NSW and VIC Working with Children Check prior to commencement
  • Ability to use computers and learn various software/programs
