Plumbing Inspector Opportunity at Wagga Wagga City Council

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Development Assessment and Building Certification Team as a Plumbing Inspector. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of plumbing and drainage systems in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and inspect plumbing and drainage systems to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect plumbing and drainage installations and identify any non-compliances.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to applicants, plumbers, and site managers on plumbing and drainage matters.
  • Collaborate with other Council teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • Current NSW Plumbing, Draining, and Gas fitting Qualified Supervisor Licence.
  • Class C Drivers Licence and General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).
  • Previous experience in application assessment of plumbing and drainage works.
