Restaurant Supervisor

Job Description:

You will play a key role in the smooth operation of a large dining destination with views of Darling Harbour. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will provide support and assistance to the Restaurant and Bar Manager.

  • Oversee shifts to ensure seamless service.
  • Provide regular training and coaching to team members.
  • Manage booking systems and reservations efficiently.
  • Achieve high standards of service and measure success using metrics.
  • Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
  • Develop strategies to maximise profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of hosts and floor staff effectively.
  • Ensure departmental standards and procedures are met during busy periods.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in leading and coaching a team.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service consistently.
  • Thriving under pressure and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • High competency in organisation, multi-tasking, and delegation.
  • Excellent presentation and grooming skills.
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Current RSA qualification.
  • Full working rights in Australia with flexibility to work on a rotating roster.
