Geotechnical Project Leader

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Project Leader to lead medium to large-scale geotechnical projects across the city.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering milestone projects in geotechnics, including tunnels, dams, slope stability, remediation, footings, foundation treatments, and ground retention systems. They will analyse and interpret geotechnical data to develop practical and commercially viable solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and delivering geotechnical projects from inception to completion.
  • Analysing and interpreting geotechnical data to inform project decisions.
  • Preparing and reviewing technical proposals and reports to ensure high-quality project documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in geotechnical engineering, with post-graduate study advantageous.
  • At least 7 years' experience in geotechnical consulting and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong skills in investigation, interpretation, design, and delivery of geotechnical solutions.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, prioritise tasks, and manage projects independently.
