Financial Planning and Analysis Expert

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with expertise in month-end close processes, reconciliations, and audit compliance. They will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of trial balances, preparing journal entries, and balancing sheet reconciliations.

This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will be able to communicate complex financial information to stakeholders and provide support for financial planning and reporting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review journal entries, including payroll accruals, bonus provisions, prepaid insurance, and intercompany transactions.
  • Ensure transaction integrity of trial balance coding for multiple entities.
  • Balanace Sheet Reconciliations: Lead monthly reconciliation of payroll liabilities, tax balances, inventory, GRNI, and COGS roll over annual review other key GL accounts.
  • Compliance & Tax Support: Support PAYG, payroll tax, Novated lease FBT submissions and GST/BAS preparation (Australia & NZ).
  • Audit Coordination & Statutory Reporting: Act as the primary contact for external auditors, including DS, DP, and consolidated file reviews.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with the FP&A Manager to align on month-end performance, variance analysis, and balance sheet reviews.

The successful candidate will have experience working with Oracle ERP, OneStream, QlikView/OBIEE, LeaseQuery, Micropay, Esker, ASIC/ATO portals, and Excel.
