Job Title: Director of Imaging Services

About the Role

The Director of Medical Imaging leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering high-quality medical imaging services. This strategic leader ensures efficient operation and effective management, driving the department forward through collaboration with other leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level strategic direction for medical imaging services, encompassing clinical governance, professional matters, network development, and service integration
  • Undertake a clinical load with a portfolio of non-clinical work, including research, education, and other essential tasks
Required Skills and Qualifications

A minimum of a tertiary degree qualification in a relevant field is mandatory. Registration with the relevant agency is also required.

Candidates must provide certified copies of requested proof of identity documents for general Criminal history and National Police Certificate checks. Declaration of any current or significant previous disciplinary proceedings or restrictions on clinical practice is necessary.

Experience and capacity in providing medical imaging education programs at undergraduate and post-graduate levels are highly desirable. Participation in research related to evidence-based practice in medical imaging medicine is also beneficial.
