Senior Manager Medical Imaging

As the leader of Medical Imaging services, you will spearhead our imaging department with a forward-thinking approach. This is an opportunity to take charge of the efficient and effective operation of Medical Imaging services. Your role includes maintaining appropriate standards, leveraging resources wisely, and collaborating with other departments to manage the operational and strategic directions of Medical Imaging services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level strategic leadership and direction regarding Medical Imaging services, including clinical governance, professional matters, network development, and service integration.
- Undertake a clinical load with a portfolio of non-clinical work such as research, education, clinical governance, and other required tasks.
- Ensure the overall quality and safety of the services provided, and be accountable for the administration of the Service.
You will need a tertiary degree qualification in a relevant field and registration with the relevant agency. You must also demonstrate experience in medical imaging education programs and participation in research related to evidence-based practice in medical imaging medicine.
This role requires strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, as well as the ability to liaise with external and internal organisations. Knowledge of contemporary human resource management principles, financial planning, and budgeting skills are also essential.
