Securities Finance Operations Specialist

Our team provides operational support for regional Discretionary Securities Lending businesses.
We offer equity and fixed income securities to broker dealers facilitating their proprietary trading strategies. The lending desk negotiates a fee based on supply, demand, and the underlying strategy type.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing support to the Securities Lending & Cash Reinvestment Trading desks
- Monitoring client sales and ensuring adequate inventory for settlement
- Assisting the trade desk with recall or swap positions for proxy events, buffer management, MSCI rebalances, and client transitions
- Monitoring Securities Lending trades for settlement, liaising directly with counterparties and agent banks
- Processing and monitoring Reinvestment Desk trades for smooth settlement
- Collateral Management - ensuring sufficient collateral is maintained at all times for stocks on loan in our Discretionary program
- Reviewing and reporting daily compliance data, presenting findings to senior operations managers
- Serving as a contact point to the business
