Residential Care Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Care Manager to lead our team of support workers. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for delivering excellence in quality care provision and ensuring the highest standards of client care at all times.

  • The Residential Care Manager works closely with the Service Manager to provide leadership, practice development and mentoring sessions to a team of support workers.
  • Facilitate and monitor the integration and coordination of care of clients, ensuring seamless transitions between services.
  • Operational management of a team of Residential Support Workers, including disciplinary measures, recruitment and selection, personal career development, statutory and mandatory training, and delegating as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Ideal qualifications include a completed degree or Diploma qualification or Certificate in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience leading a team or Senior Support Worker, with demonstrated experience mentoring and coaching other support workers.
  • Ability to consult and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience working within a residential recovery and resilience based model.
  • Proficiency in use of computer and Microsoft office.
  • Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC and NDIS worker screening clearance.
