Your Career Path with Us

We require experienced Class G Gasfitters with construction, utilities, and/or energy sector expertise to undertake customer service activities associated with the gas distribution network.

This role involves faults and emergency response, residential and commercial meter changes, reconnects/disconnects, leak detection, and maintenance compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Faults and emergency response activities, residential and commercial meter changes, reconnects/disconnects, leak detection, and maintenance compliance.
  • Operating machinery, equipment, and tools according to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Liaising with customers and stakeholders to communicate disruptions and minimize impacts.
  • Participating in the 24/7 on-call roster at nominated intervals.
  • Adhering to safe work practices and requirements.
  • Developing and fostering relationships with contractors, stakeholders, and customers.

Essential Requirements:

  • Energy Safety Class G Gas fitting Licence and current C-class driver's licence.
  • Experience and knowledge of installation and maintenance of gas appliances.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills for effective public, contractor, and community interactions.
