Transform Lives as a Vocational Training Counsellor

This is an exciting opportunity to work with TAFE NSW, delivering high-quality vocational training and education that empowers individuals to succeed in their chosen careers.
As a dedicated counsellor, you will provide expert support and guidance to enrolled students, ensuring they achieve their full potential. You will also collaborate closely with teaching and administrative staff to develop and deliver effective counselling services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide timely and tailored counselling services to students, addressing personal, educational, or vocational concerns.
Work collaboratively with Counselling Managers and Senior Counsellors to respond to urgent campus situations and state-wide critical incidents.
Requirements:
An appropriate degree from a tertiary institution, preferably in Psychology or a related field.
At least 3 years' study in Psychology or other relevant fields, plus a minimum 2 years' experience in vocational training or a related field.
Recent experience in personal, educational, or vocational counselling, with a focus on providing efficient and effective support to students.
