Painter Job Description

The primary responsibility of a painter is to apply paint to products using airless and conventional spray systems to meet specifications.

  • Prepare valves and components for spray painting.
  • Inspect, measure, and test completed work for finish, film thickness, and coverage.

  • Ensure a tidy work area and follow applicable Quality Assurance procedures.

A successful painter will have experience in industrial spray painting, hold a forklift certificate, and be proficient in both conventional and airless spray systems. They should also be able to troubleshoot issues while maintaining high standards of finish and consistent film thickness.
