Job Title: Surface Preparation and Painting Specialist

We are seeking skilled professionals to fill the role of Surface Preparation and Painting Specialist.

  • This position requires expertise in industrial abrasive blasting and painting techniques, ensuring high-quality results and adhering to industry standards.
  • Responsibilities include:
  • Perform surface preparation using abrasive blasting methods, including grit and sand blasting.
  • Apply industrial coatings, primers, and protective paints utilizing airless or conventional spray equipment.
  • Read and interpret job specifications and coating system requirements.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of surface preparation and coating applications to ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards.
  • Operate and maintain blasting and painting equipment safely and efficiently.

To be successful as a Surface Preparation and Painting Specialist, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in industrial surface preparation and painting.
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in surface preparation and painting.
  • A valid White Card (Construction Induction Card).
  • A current Driver's License.
  • Working at Heights, Confine Space, and Gas Test Atmosphere certifications within the last 2 years.
