Medical Records Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Medical Records Manager, coordinating and managing a team of staff to ensure day-to-day tasks are achieved within established timeframes and standards.

About the Role
  1. Coordinate and manage a team of staff to ensure efficient medical record management practices.
  2. Work closely with the Health Information Management team to drive improvements in record management principles and medico-legal service provision.
  3. Monitor and maintain processes to ensure high-quality medical record management.
  4. Perform the function of Right to Information (RTI)/Information Privacy (IP) Delegated Decision maker for all RTI/IP Act requests.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of Medical Record and Information Access administrative staff.
  • Ensure accurate and timely medical record management practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve medical record management efficiency.
