Senior Physiotherapist Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Physiotherapist to lead the provision of comprehensive rural generalist inpatient, emergency and outpatient physiotherapy services.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to drive continuous improvement of Physiotherapy services through professional leadership and participation in quality improvement opportunities.

  • Deliver high level independent Physiotherapy clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.
  • Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction.
  • Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced Physiotherapy practitioners and students as delegated.

This role may involve the provision of Vestibular Assessments, which is desirable but not essential for commencement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver high level Physiotherapy clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.

2. Exercise professional judgement to adapt routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.

3. Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction.

4. Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced Physiotherapy practitioners and students as delegated.
