We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Nuclear Engineering professional to join our team as a Senior Lecturer in Nuclear Engineering at the University of New South Wales.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs in Nuclear Engineering, including lectures, tutorials, and workshops.
- Conduct research in Nuclear Engineering, with a focus on nuclear thermal hydraulics, multi-physics modeling, and nuclear engineering design.
- Contribute to the development of new courses and programs in Nuclear Engineering, and participate in curriculum review and development.
- Supervise and mentor students in their research projects, and provide guidance on their academic and professional development.
- Collaborate with industry partners and other stakeholders to develop and deliver research projects and programs in Nuclear Engineering.
- Contribute to the development of the School's research strategy and goals, and participate in research grant applications and other funding initiatives.
- Engage in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Nuclear Engineering, and share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and students.
- PhD in Nuclear Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching and learning in Nuclear Engineering, including curriculum development and delivery.
- Strong research background in Nuclear Engineering, with a focus on nuclear thermal hydraulics, multi-physics modeling, and nuclear engineering design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
