About the Role

We're seeking a motivated Climate Risk Policy Officer to join our team in shaping policies and initiatives that enhance bushfire resilience. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of climate policy development in NSW, focusing on community protection and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of policies and initiatives that mitigate bushfire risks and promote community resilience
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address potential threats to communities and the environment
  • Analyse data and research to inform evidence-based decision-making
What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll require:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, policy, or management
  • Proven experience in policy development, analysis, or related fields
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • A passion for community service and environmental protection
Salary Range

$90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience
