Operations Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily activities to ensure optimal centre operations, with a focus on maintenance, capital works, and deliveries.

  • Implement and manage risk management programs
  • Oversee capital works projects
  • Drive sustainability initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety legislation
  • Supervise security and cleaning contractors
  • Manage maintenance schedules and budgets
  • Coordinate tenancy fit-outs and landlord works
  • Provide exceptional customer service

You will work closely with various stakeholders to achieve business objectives and maintain a safe and secure environment for all visitors and occupants.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in retail property management
  • Trade qualifications (Mechanical/Electrical preferred)
  • Proven experience in supervising building services and contractors
  • Excellent financial acumen and budgeting skills
  • Strong written and oral communication abilities
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Professional demeanour and customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to make decisions and implement within delegated authority
  • Thorough knowledge of property functions, including accrual accounting
