Data Compliance Specialist

This pivotal role assists clients in identifying and remediating breaches against enterprise agreements, modern awards, national employment standards or jurisdictional long service leave legislation.
- Leads the technical design and development of analysis models (SQL or Excel) to identify and quantify wage compliance risks.
- Collaborates with subject matter specialists to understand business requirements for modelling, including resolution of ambiguous requirements and identification of relevant data sources.
- Conducts testing and provides guidance and coaching to junior team members.
- Documents results and prepares working papers and reports to support analysis.
- Experience in analyzing large and complex payroll and time & attendance data to identify or quantify wage compliance issues.
- At least 4 years of experience in developing SQL, Alteryx or Excel data models.
- Proven track record of leading small teams of data analysts, including task assignment and quality review.
- Skilled in translating complex business and legal requirements into technical specifications for analysis and preparation of written reports / methodologies for presentation to regulators and legal representatives.
- Strong project management skills.
- Background in professional services is preferred.
