The Food Services Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the catering team to deliver high-quality food and beverage services to residents, families, and staff. This dynamic individual will work closely with the Chef to prepare and serve nutritious meals that meet the standards of aged care facilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and working in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our catering team, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe dining area.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef in preparing and serving nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements;
- Operate a barista coffee machine and serve hot and cold drinks, cakes, and light meals;
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure a positive experience for residents and families;
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Previous experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry;
