Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

  • Provide community-based individual dual diagnosis mental health and alcohol and other drug counselling to complex and high-risk forensic clients.
  • Deliver face-to-face and telehealth dual diagnosis intervention, working with complex offenders on community-based orders, and develop counselling and intervention skills with a complex and high-risk client group.

Clinical Psychologists play a vital role in our High Risk Offenders Alcohol and Drug Service (HiROADS) team, providing individualised support to clients. They will work closely with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in psychology, registration under the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and relevant work experience providing dual diagnosis counselling intervention and/or working with trauma and complex presentations.
