Job Overview

This role involves working collaboratively with the Commercial Group to leverage technical expertise in advancing business growth within Australia's colour business sectors.

  1. Guiding Colour Technologists and Application Technologists in executing customer projects related to colour sourced from our Project Pipeline.
  2. Developing prototypes that showcase customer specifications, offering technical support throughout project lifecycles, and delivering comprehensive technical guidance to stakeholders.
  3. Reviewing compliance with relevant regulations, in conjunction with the Regulatory Team, as required.
  4. Translating data to non-technical audiences.
  5. Maintaining technical documentation for all products and application formulations.
  6. Helping to develop product formulation prototypes with Sensient ingredients for commercial documents and presentations.
  7. Designing and delivering training and mentoring in the colour category, to build skills within the local team.

Candidates must have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in general science or food science or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of project management experience.
  • Seven to ten years of technical experience in the food colorants industry with a strong understanding of finished formulations.
