**Airfield Maintenance Technician Role**

The safety, functionality, and presentation of Perth Airport's airfield is reliant on the diligent efforts of our Airfield Maintenance team. This dedicated group is tasked with maintaining runways, taxiways, and apron pavements through line marking, set-outs, and painting.

Duties also encompass the upkeep of airside roads and track networks, vegetation control, and management of open drains to ensure compliance with aerodrome standards and policies.

As an Airfield Maintenance Technician, you will operate a variety of plant and equipment including front-end loaders, skid steers, trucks, mowers, and other specialized machinery.

Your work will focus on delivering high-quality maintenance activities while prioritizing safety, efficiency, and adherence to all aspects of airfield operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain runways, taxiways, and apron pavements
  • Operate plant and equipment including front-end loaders, skid steers, and trucks
  • Manage airside roads and track networks, vegetation, and open drains

**Requirements:**

  • Experience operating various plant and equipment
  • Understanding of aerodrome environment
  • Trade certificates and relevant tickets preferred but not essential
