Lime Recruitment is partnering with a leading Queensland government department to find an experienced Iteration Manager to lead a delivery team through the delivery lifecycle, ensuring successful outcomes that meet business and customer needs.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a team through the delivery lifecycle, ensuring successful outcomes that meet business and customer needs.
  • Organise and facilitate agile activities and ceremonies, including daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, and backlog refinement sessions.
  • Effectively manage user story estimation and forecasting.
  • Champion and facilitate adoption of agile standards, tools, and best practices.
  • Coach the team on established IT and corporate standards to minimise operational and reputational risk.
  • Proactively identify and resolve impediments to team progress.
  • Communicate with leaders across the organization to ensure transparency into delivery progress, challenges, and risks.
  • Utilise team feedback and metrics to identify areas of opportunity and work with the team to continuously improve.
  • Coach the team to improve collaboration and self-management, promoting healthy interactions both within the team and with external stakeholders.
  • Represent the team at broader planning and coordination sessions.
  • Support the team in using agile planning and development tools.
  • Contribute to the advancement and improvement of agile practices within the organisation.
  • Support the leadership team to ensure priority work is resourced appropriately.
  • Provide consistent and effective delivery dashboards and reports, including performance against key metrics and continuous improvement measures.

You will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Certification in agile delivery (highly desirable).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in agile delivery.
  • Minimum 2 years of iteration manager experience.
