Our hotel is a luxury property located in the heart of Sydney, between the iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge. We are currently seeking a Lead Bell Service Team Member to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

  • Supervise and motivate a team of bell staff to deliver exceptional guest service at all times, ensuring seamless interactions with guests throughout their stay.
  • Efficiently manage luggage handling processes, maintaining a welcoming lobby area that sets the tone for an outstanding guest experience.
  • Coordinate daily briefings and foster open communication within the department, as well as across the hotel, to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient operations.
  • Cultivate comprehensive knowledge of guest rooms, facilities, and local attractions to provide informed recommendations and enhance the guest experience.
  • Oversee the coordination of guest transportation and vehicle control on the Porte Cochere, ensuring smooth operations and safety.
  • Manage rostering and leave planning for the team, working closely with senior management to optimize staffing levels and minimize disruptions.
  • Provide support to the Chief Concierge and Guest Services team as needed, contributing to the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.

About You

  • Proven experience working in a hotel environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • A full driver's license.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • An understanding of Work Health & Safety practices.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
