We are seeking an Optical Receptionist/Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and support our optometrist team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience from the outset.
  • Manage phone calls, appointment scheduling, and enquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that suit their prescription, lifestyle, and personal style.
  • Maintain accurate records, billing, and invoicing systems to ensure seamless transactions.
  • Provide support with ordering, stock control, and product knowledge to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver follow-up services such as frame adjustments and minor repairs to maintain high-quality service standards.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in optical or reception roles is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates with transferable skills.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills are essential for success in this role.
  • A friendly, compassionate approach is crucial when interacting with patients.
  • An interest in fashion and eyewear trends will help you excel in recommending suitable products.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy is necessary for maintaining precise records and processing transactions efficiently.
