Job Description:

This Senior Accountant role offers the chance to gain exposure across both compliance and advisory, while building long-term client relationships.

You will be part of a close-knit Business Services team that provides high-quality services to family businesses, SMEs and private clients across South Australia.

The position involves preparing financial statements and tax returns for varied entities, supporting advisory work such as tax structuring and planning, delivering management reporting and forecasting services, working directly with Partners and business owners on client issues, and mentoring junior accountants and reviewing their work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements and tax returns
  • Support advisory work
  • Deliver management reporting and forecasting services
  • Work with Partners and business owners
  • Mentor junior accountants
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3-4 years' accounting experience within business services in Australia
  • CA/CPA qualified or near completion
  • Technical strength in compliance with curiosity for advisory
  • Relationship-building skills and commercial mindset
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and collaborative approach
