The Sales Representative – Liquid and Hazardous Waste is a critical role responsible for the sales of waste management solutions across South East Melbourne. You'll manage this region, retaining customers and driving profitable sales growth.

About the Role

  • Manage Liquid and Hazardous Waste accounts
  • Identify and secure new business within the current portfolio
  • Keep Management informed on activity and results, new business, weekly work plans, and monthly/annual business unit analysis
  • Identify and target new business opportunities
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, services, and delivery schedules
  • Recommend changes in services to Management by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and tenders for existing and potential clients
  • Manage, update, and maintain client information in the company CRM

What You Bring

  • Minimum 2+ years' work experience in high-volume B2B sales (within the liquid waste industry preferred)
  • Demonstrated track record within a sales or business development position, managing sales and achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Presentation skills with the ability to present to all levels across various industries
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong computer and analytical skills
  • Valid driver's license
